Matti is a paranoid father to be, crippled by doubts about his own strength. Erkki is a sworn womanizer who struggles with an unknown disease and the emotional wounds of alienation between him and his son. Rauno is a tired unrealized actor who returned to Helsinki from Paris in an attempt to re-establish his relationship with his 20-year-old son. It's Christmas – a time when we usually get together with our families, and the inability of the three of them to be with their closest people weighs on them.
